Dear Parents,
We would like to officially welcome you and your child to Division 5. We are excited to teach your children this year and have many fun learning adventures planned.
Your child has two teachers this year. Mrs. Legassie will be teaching on Mondays and Tuesday and Mrs. Smith will be teaching Wednesday through Friday.
Here are a few things for you to be aware of as we begin our year together:
Amazing Students Board
Over the next week, students will be assembling an in-class bulletin board celebrating the uniqueness of our classmates. Each student will have a section of the bulletin board to fill artifacts about themselves similar to a scrapbook. This can include pictures with family and friends, ribbons or medals from out of school activities, drawings, stories they’ve written, etc. Please help your child think of ideas for their board and send items to school no later than Friday, September 15th.
Parent Communication
We will be using this website as our primary means of communication with you. Please “Subscribe” to the website in order to receive email updates every time the website is updated. We will also use this website to showcase and celebrate our learning in class.
Parent Questionnaire
No one knows your child better than you! Please fill out the questionnaire that was sent home to provide us with important information about your child.
